People who help us...

Pre-School kicked off the new year with learning all about people who help us. Our role play transformed into our very own police station and we had 25 young officers who were dedicated in enforcing our Pre-School rules!
We were lucky enough to be visited by PC Matthews. She drove her police car through the school gates and we all went out to investigate- the sirens were very loud!! It was very exciting as we took it in turns to sit in the back seat! PC Matthews then joined us inside and we tried on her special uniform! Although they were slightly big we had great fun wearing her boots, vest and police hats! We all thought it was very funny as we took it in turns wearing the handcuffs. She told us all about the things she does at work and we asked her lots of questions, including asking what she had in her MANY pockets.
Blossom's daddy, who is a Fire-fighter, also came to see us. Some of us tried on his special helmet- we couldn't believe how heavy it was! Fire-fighter Watson showed us some of the equipment he would take to fight a fire and we took it in turns to look through his heat-sensing camera. We were also visited by Doctor Teo, who is Sophia's daddy! He brought with him his bag of medical equipment and a poorly patient. He showed us how to use a stethoscope, thermometer and how to check if somebody's reflexing are working.
After half term we will be visited by Amir's mummy who is a dentist!
