On Tuesday 27th June, four children from Year Three were lucky enough to take part in a cooking workshop at Jeavons Wood Primary School. When we arrived, we met children from other schools in the area. We washed our hands and put our aprons on. It was important to listen to the safety rules and the instructions for how to use different pieces of equipment.
Then we started making our pizzas! We measured and weighed ingredients to make dough. We learnt how to knead it then left it to rise for a few minutes. Next, we rolled it out and added our choice of toppings. We put our pizzas in the oven then had a few minutes to explore the trim trail at Jeavons Wood. Finally, we were allowed to take our pizzas home to enjoy them and share them with our families. We had a great afternoon learning new skills.
