Year 3 Sleepover 2016

Written by  on Tuesday, 28 June 2016.

Year Three had a fantastic time at our sleepover at the start of this half term. After spending a day celebrating the Queen’s birthday, we began the evening by watching “Matilda” and having a snack and a drink.

Then we set up our sleeping areas which was very exciting! After a delicious meal we were put into teams for the evening’s activities. Everyone got the chance to do all four activities: making hot chocolate on a camping stove in the courtyard, team building games on the field, singing songs and playing games round the campfire, and making collage stamps of ourselves! Lots of fun was had by all and some great team building skills were shown. By this time it was getting late, so we all got into our pyjamas, washed our faces and brushed our teeth. Before we went to sleep, we had a special treat: a bedtime story read by Mrs Higham! We all managed to get some sleep and after some breakfast in the morning everyone was delivered back to their grown-ups. We had such a fantastic time and now we can’t wait for Burwell House in Year Four!
