The Vine Welcomes Mr.Faris

Written by  on Thursday, 25 January 2018.

What an amazing first full week I have had at The Vine. So far I have managed to meet all of the staff, the children and lots of parents. It has been Fab!

Moving from Essex to Cambridgeshire to come to the school has been a big decision however so far it is really paying off. The children at the school are an absolute pleasure to work with and the staff work their socks off every day. It is very rare to find a group of so many people all so committed, who are making sure all the pupils have an amazing start to their education journey.

In terms of the community I am hoping to be able to learn more about Cambourne and have already had many kind words from other local Heads. I would love to be able to meet more of the community and show you the brilliant things that go on in the school, ranging from professional quality music tuition, art work that The Louvre would be jealous of and RE teaching that makes the children ask deep and meaningful questions, (and that’s not even mentioning a fraction of the great work that goes on here).

Thank you to everyone who has made me feel so welcome I look forward to carrying on the hard work of Debbie Higham & the team and continue to build on her legacy of creating a school where “All are Welcome”.
